Pajat is a mobile solutions company founded in 2009 with personnel in Finland and development partners in Kenya, India and Thailand. Pajat is financed by Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation – and private investors.
Although Finland is a global leader in mobile technology innovation, we believe innovation can and will happen everywhere with major opportunities in Asian, African and Latin-American growth markets. Our mission is to provide affordable and useful mobile solutions that are globally relevant. Our current focus is on providing a mobile location data monitoring cloud service that benefits a multitude of segments.
The initial focus has been on NGOs carrying out development programs in Africa, but we are currently spreading to other geographies and application segments. The next major segments are infrastructure installation and maintenance, health, forestry, environmental monitoring and security, such as mobile evidence collection.
We believe that mobile devices will become common in enabling various kinds of work, whether non-profit, public or commercial.
